About Solidarity at Work
I’m Christopher Mulè (Moo-LAY), a producer, community organizer, and cultural strategist with deep roots in the nonprofit and social impact sectors.
I formerly co-directed Creatives Rebuild New York’s (CRNY) Artist Employment Program, a groundbreaking initiative that centers the economic well-being of artists. Prior to this, I worked as a cultural producer with local arts councils in New York City, advancing programs that support artists and communities.
My work spans grant making, community-based program development, and strategic planning, including contributions to the Artist and Cultural Workers Bill of Rights, a framework for equity and dignity in the arts.
I have experience beyond the cultural sector, supporting mission-driven organizations as they design impactful grant programs, build capacity, and develop community-centered strategies. I’m passionate about equity for marginalized communities and am actively organizing regional groups as part of a broader workers’ rights movement.
In March of 2025 I received a Life, Leadership, & Executive Coaching Certification from the Institute for Coaching Excellence (a Level 2, ICF-accredited program). My next step is to complete ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential through the International Coaching Federation. In order to complete this next step, I’m currently offering a limited number of pro bono coaching spots for social impact leaders who want to do this work in real time with me.
Currently, I’m launching Solidarity at Work, a coaching and consulting practice that empowers artists, cultural workers, and social impact leaders to build capacity, navigate nonprofit systems, and create collaborative, sustainable impact. I began offering these services in September of 2025.
